RickshawWorld is a simple booking platform that connects riders with independent rickshaw drivers. You agree the details directly with your driver and enjoy a unique, open-air way to move around the city.

Modern rickshaws trace their roots to late-19th-century Japan and have since evolved into cycle rickshaws (pedicabs) used across the world. Today they’re a playful, accessible option for short urban trips and memorable experiences.

We believe mobility and fair work matter. As we grow, we’ll support initiatives that broaden access and improve working conditions—such as bicycles for children and fair-work projects in places like Bangladesh.

RickshawWorld was born in Edinburgh. The city’s hills make every ride distinctive: steady effort uphill, a rush of fresh air on the way down, and always with safety and care in mind.
